Evie is an absolute superstar! With quite short notice, we asked Evie to achieve the impossible of doing mine and my mums makeup for my brothers wedding in Lands End. Absoultely nothing was too much trouble! She managed to do us both in a short amount of time and I felt incredible! We got on like a house on fire and she had such a relaxed vibe. We had no practice run, but I told her my ideas and she got them perfectly. My makeup lasted all day and evening, didn’t feel cakey and was just what I had hoped for. I am so pleased my mum booked Evie as a treat for me and my Bridesmaids, as we all just looked amazing and it was very special. I was the Mother-of-the-Bride at an alternative/Goth wedding, and Evie did my make-up. As a 'woman of a certain age', I was worried that the 'alternative' look would be too much for my age, but Evie somehow made it look natural, yet dramatic at the same time! She listened to my ideas and, of course, those of the bride. It was a Halloween wedding, so we also asked her to draw a delicate cobweb around one of my eyes and it looked so cute. The quality of the make-up used was excellent - and even impressed the bride, who is very into her make-up! It stayed in place all day - and well into the night. She was calm, but chatty enough to keep my nerves at bay. Evie was also flexible enough to step in and do the make-up for two of the bridesmaids at fairly short notice as well. We were all so happy with the result, and can't recommend Evie enough.
